52 Brooklands was empty for well over 5 years before purchase and inhabited by two older brothers who lived there for many years and had not updated it for probably over 40 years.

The layout was changed radically to make the small kitchen open plan into the living room. The third bedroom was also combined with the living area to give a large space, and to make the most of the wonderful views across open fields to St Marys lighthouse and the windmills at Blyth.
